When can I get an appointment?
Dynamic Physiotherapy takes appointments between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Lunchtimes can get busy, but we’ll do our best to fit in an appointment around your schedule. We will usually be able to fit you in within 24 to 48 hours – often on the same day if it’s urgent.
How long does an appointment take?
We usually allow 45 minutes to one hour for each session.
How do I get there?
Dynamic Physiotherapy is at 50 Erskine Street Sydney CBD – just around the corner from Westpac Place, which is opposite the Kent Street exit of Wynyard Station.
Do I need a referral?
No. But if you’re a workers’ compensation or compulsory third-party patient, you will need to have a medical referral, as required by the insurer.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you like. If you’re in work clothes, you may need to take some items off for treatment, but we’ll have something suitable you can change into. Feel free to being a pair of shorts, or some other garment you can change into that helps us access your injury.
Can I claim a rebate from my health fund?
Yes. HICAPS is available, so you can claim your private health rebate on the spot.
Does Medicare cover treatment costs?
Medicare does not typically cover physio treatment. However, if you’re under a Medicare EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) plan, you may be able to claim up to five physio visits per calendar year. You should check this with your GP.
