Tim CruikshankPhysiotherapist After graduating from Sydney University in 2001, Tim commenced work at the N.S.W. Institute of Sports Medicine. Working with and alongside many of the most well-respected and experienced practitioners, Tim has dealt with many of the country's elite athletes. Tim has provided physio services to many professional sporting teams - including NRL sides the Cronulla Sharks, St George Illawarra Dragons and Wests Tigers. He's worked with the Sydney Swans in the AFL, and West Harbour Rugby Union. He has toured with the Australian Barbarian Rugby Union, and provided services to touring international sides, such as the Sri Lankan cricket team.
Tim's also worked with some International superstars of the music world, including Pavarotti and Ingleburn Humperdinck.
Tim currently provides physiotherapy services to National League Waterpolo with the Drummoyne Devils, and works with the Drummoyne Rugby Club, the Dirty Reds.
He continues to develop his professional skills, completing courses in Accupuncture, Real Time Ultrasound, and his Dilploma in Sports Physiotherapy.
Tim commenced in private practice at Five Dock Leisure Centre in 2003. He became a partner and principle of the practice in 2004, and in 2008 he opened a second practice in Sydney’s CBD. Tim's interests and expertise lie in the treatment of the sporting condition, and in particular those injuries in rugby, waterpolo and distance running. He is committed to providing the best possible care for the sporting community, and the community at large.
Lisa RolloPhysiotherapist Lisa graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994, and has extensive experience working with sports injuries. She worked for eight years at South Sydney Sports Medicine Centre - a multi-disciplinary private practice that offers its services to two elite rugby league teams, as well as to local rugby union, soccer, triathlon, netball, touch football and Oz-tag teams.
During this time she also worked for 5 years as the Head Physiotherapist for the AFL (NSW/ACT) Developmental Squad, UK Super League team Warrington Wolves during their World Cup Challenge, and for the England Rugby League Sevens team. Lisa completed her Post Graduate Diploma of Sports Physiotherapy in 1999, and achieved her APA Sports Physiotherapy title in 2002. In 2003 she started work at the Sydney University Sports Clinic, where she worked with the Sydney University Rugby Union and the Women's National Basketball League team, the Sydney University Flames.
With her more recent interest is in pilates, Lisa has now completed Clinical Pilates Level 1 & 2.
Lisa brings a vast amount of experience with her to Dynamic Physiotherapy, and as such is a most valued member of our clinical and analysis staff.
Tom DonaldsonExercise and sport science student Tom is currently studying and completing his Bachelor Applied Science in Exercise and Sports Science. This makes him overly qualified in providing the latest techniques in biomechanical analysis.
He is constantly updating not only his own knowledge base, but that of other staff, in latest research that is coming out of the universities and broader research community. Tom has a keen interest in swimming, surf life saving and running.
Amy RiedelChiropractic student
Amy is currently in her 3rd year of a Chiropractic degree at Macquarie University, giving her a different approach and view of biomechanics and treatment of injuries. These skills work well with our physio approach to biomechanics and treatments, and as such increase our knowledge base. |
